Phu Chang Noi 🐘

🙏 Today I'd like to share that our village has a place that the locals discovered, called Phu Chang Noi...

🌳 Phu Chang Noi 🐘

It is located at the border between Nong Chim subdistrict and Han subdistrict. Getting there is quite deep and difficult, with only a small sign. It hasn't been developed much, but the local people know it well.

If entering from Ban Nong Chim community, heading toward Pak Khok Yai, it can be reached by car, with a small sign pointing the way. The coordinates of Phu Chang Noi are near the date palm orchard area.

It is a legendary place passed down through stories told by the village elders. It is believed that the area once had wild elephants living there, an ancient forest where there may have been a community of people living and making their livelihood. There is a mountain that resembles a small elephant, a mound or hill that rises high with alternating laterite rocks.

Currently, there is an elephant-like statue in the Phu Chang Noi area. Villagers go there to pay respects and worship, showing reverence for this place, and offering elephant statues out of respect and belief that something sacred once resided there, for the peace and happiness of the local community. It is considered a place worth exploring, another interesting unseen spot indeed.

If anyone has the opportunity and enjoys challenging journeys, do try to go discover and explore it 🙏

Thank you very much 🙏🍀
